My name is Dennis. I am the owner
of a Fort Myers Computer Services
company called Imagitec which has
been in business since 1995. I have
recently become a partner in a web
site startup project. I am looking
for Freelance/Project Programmers.
At this time, the project is in
ASP.net 3.5, Visual Basic 2008,
Visual C# 2008, and SQL Server 2008.
-
Any programmer joining our
project will be an independent
sub-contractor invoicing my
company for their conference and
programming time and will
receive a 1099 at the end of the
year.
-
Each programmer will agree to
and sign acknowledgement that
the Product of their time,
namely databases and/or
software/code are and will be
the property of Imagitec and
Imagitec’s business partner.
-
Each programmer will be expected
to own/possess the necessary
software needed to perform their
assigned tasks/projects and will
perform their assignments from
their own equipment and
location.
-
Each programmer is expected to
possess broadband Internet
access at their own equipment
and location.
-
Each programmer is expected to
produce their own code, any
copyright infringement or code
replication will mandate
termination of that programmer’s
involvement in the project as
well as potential litigation.
-
Each programmer will agree to
and sign acknowledgement of a
Non-Conflict/Non-Compete
Statement.
-
The necessary user access and
password will be assigned as
needed.
-
You will invoice per agreed rate
and budgeted time and at an
agreed frequency, typically
bi-weekly. Rates will be
commensurate with programming
level, assignment complexity as
well as satisfactory progress
and completion of previously
assigned databases/subroutines
/modules/components. Rates are
ranging from $10/Hr to $20/Hr.
-
You can expect to invoice for a
minimum of $10/Hr, but could
certainly earn more if your
programming skills allow you to
complete your assigned
programming project in less than
the budgeted time.
-
The code you produce will be
tested and any needed
corrections/changes will either
be performed without additional
invoicing or will be allotted
additional billable time as
mutually agreed between Imagitec
and yourself.
-
Failure to complete an assigned
project on-time will
reduce/terminate your
involvement in the overall
project. Successful completion
as well as efficient and
reliable code/databases will
increase your involvement in the
overall project as well as
potentially increase your future
rate of compensation.
Please do NOT let the wording of the
bulleted items above dissuade you
from finding out more, I just want
you to understand some of what is
involved. These bullets are simply
disclaimers and facts that you will
want to know more about before
joining our project.
If you are NOT a programmer or are
NOT interested in being considered,
please accept my apologies and
ignore this document.
If you know of other potential
programmer candidates, please have
them forward their resumes to me at
dennis@imagsys.com. We expect
to be building a pool of programmers
which will NOT affect individual
project assignment, only how quickly
the overall project can be
completed.
I am certain you are curious to
learn more and expect you have many
questions. Please feel free to call
me. I will be scheduling a meeting
with potential candidates soon, so
please contact me if you want to
find out more.
