Donations for Darrin and his Family

On October 23rd, my younger brother, Darrin, suffered a plum-sized stroke on the left side of his brain.  This stroke has left him with impaired speech, diminished mobility, memory loss and communications/thought delays.  Understandably, he is now unable to work and can no longer support his wife and 3 children.  His recovery is expected to take from 1 to 2 years and his ability to work in the future is unclear at this time.

Darrin is 42 years old and was perfectly healthy prior to this tragic event.  Despite his employer's generosity in the short term, Darrin's inability to work in the long term is placing a severe burden on his family's financial situation.  In addition, Charlotte has had to stop working to care for Darrin, so this family is going to need financial help.

In December, Darrin will be heading to Tampa for surgery to repair a birth-defect that left a hole in his heart and potentially caused the clot which led to his stroke.  We know everyone sends their prayers and well wishes.  Darrin appreciates them!

Darrin is home now and is trying his best to push through the recovery and rehabilitation process.  He has the constant emotional/physical support of his wife and three kids (Devin 10, Dane 7 and Dillon 4) as well as from his extended family here in Florida and in Pennsylvania.  Any financial support you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
